IrfanView is one of the most versatile free image viewers and now it’s also a PDF viewer. Version 4.62 introduces options to read and save files in PDF format, provided you have plug-ins enabled in the program.
If you don’t, download IrfanView’s Plugins pack from https://www.irfanview.com/plugins.htm and install it to the IrfanView folder in the Program Files folder on your hard drive. To view a PDF, click the File menu, choose Open and select ‘All files’ in the ‘Files of type’ menu, then select and open the file. To add images to a PDF, click the Options menu and choose Create Multipage PDF in the ‘Multipage images’ side menu. Select the images you want to use and click Create Multipage Image. IrfanView also lets you delete and rearrange pages in a PDF by choosing Edit Multipage PDF. Choose a page, click either ‘Remove pages’ (see screenshot) or ‘Move pages up/down’ then click ‘Apply changes’.
