Totally confused!
Both laptops can be configured with intel core i5 or i7 7th gen CPU, but the SSD in the MacBook destroys the XPS so how do we end up with a 5 for the Dell and a 4 for the MacBook?
The display you give the edge to Dell again even though the Mac has is brighter with a wider color gamut. Now I know you can configure the Dell with a higher resolution display than the MacBook but your praising of the “full HD” display on the Dell and have concerns about the near quad HD display on the Mac. Something doesn’t make sense.
Finally you knock 2 points off the MacBook for usability because of the short throw on the butterfly keyboard, and give no real edge for the superior force touch trackpad. Maybe I just need a deeper review and your summaries are very poor but as I see it the MacBook is thinner, smaller and lighter. It’s faster and configurable with more ram. The dell has more ports and maybe a better keyboard but not much else.
